JOSIE MORRIS

Traverse juniper-lined canyons, discover ancient pictographs, then push upward to Blue Mountain’s heights.

RATING 5.jpg

Located near the Jensen area, the Jose Morris Trail begins with sweeping views of Split Mountain before winding through scenic juniper-lined canyons. Midway along the route, the group will stop for a short walk to view well-preserved Native American pictographs tucked into the canyon walls. From there, the trail steadily climbs in elevation, eventually reaching the top of Blue Mountain—approximately 2,500 feet above the valley floor—rewarding drivers with expansive views of the surrounding landscape.
