TRAIL DETAILS

White Lightning has us all excited to run over and over.  It's like our own Hell's Revenge.  The main trail is rated 7, but there are multiple 8-10 rated bonus options if you feel up to the challenge. The trail contains several huge ledges, and some features bordering a 100 foot cliff to add to the thrill.  The Clamshell is one of the more notable obstacles that demands total commitment to make it out of this super steep climb out of a 3-sided dish. Experienced drivers only.
 

 

Scenery

The trail is packed with grand panoramic views of winding slickrock/sandstone roller coaster slopes with distant views of the Steinaker Reservoir and the City of Vernal.

 

 

Surface

Mostly sandstone/slickrock, steep climbs, descents and off-camber slopes.
